Join local Historian, Heather Hurley for this guided walk along a largely forgotten but historic lane, previously used to service a ferry across the Wye. The ancient route was turnpiked by the Ross Turnpike Trust in 1749 and was never legally closed.

The walk begins at Hom Cahpel, HR9 5QN, and will take in Hill Court and Old Hill Court A Ross Civic Society event open to non members and forming a part of Herefordshire Histories Festival.
